Saturday night I photographed Khrystyna in the studio. I built a set out of plants and tree roots. This was the first time I shot someone nude. I was really inspired by a lot of 19th century paintings that I saw at the Louvre as well as a book of nude paintings I recently purchased. Overall, I am happy with the results of this shoot. I think these images will be part of a larger series. I plan on shooting a lot of different people in specific environments--created by myself, or by nature. I'm still working out a lot of details and will have a more coherent concept once I shoot more work. Right now I am in a phase where I just want to shoot the images I have in my head. Sometimes I have a concept before I shoot and other times I have an image.

oh my god the shots are good but that main picture is just amazing and really does look like a painting
